Privacy policy
Last updated 6 August 2026
This policy covers 21childrensfund.org, the website of 21St Century Fund For Delawares Children Inc. It describes exactly what this site collects and what happens to it. It does not cover how the fund handles case information shared with us outside this website.
What the contact form collects
The contact form asks for your name, your email address, an optional description of your role, the subject of your message, and the message itself. It collects nothing else. There is no tracking pixel in the form and no third-party embedded widget on the page.
When you submit the form, those details are stored in a private, access-controlled store hosted by Vercel, our website host, on servers in the United States. They are not published, not indexed by search engines, and not readable by anyone visiting this website. Only people authorised by the fund can retrieve them, and they do so in order to read and answer your message.
Your message is not sent to any third-party marketing, advertising, or analytics service, and it is not used to train any automated system.
We also record the IP address the submission came from, briefly and in memory only, so that we can limit automated abuse of the form. It is not stored with your message and is not retained.
Information about a child in your message
Many messages to the fund concern a specific young person. Please send only what we need in order to decide: a first name, an age, the program or agency involved, the opportunity, the cost, and the deadline. Please do not send a full legal name, an address, a case or file number, medical information, or documents unless we ask for them.
We do not publish any child’s name, photograph, or identifying details on this website or in our materials.
How long we keep it
Correspondence is kept for as long as it takes to answer the enquiry and, where a grant is made, for as long as we are required to retain records of that grant for accounting and tax purposes. Correspondence that does not lead to a grant is deleted once the matter is closed.
Analytics and cookies
This site uses Vercel Analytics and Vercel Speed Insights to count page views and measure loading performance. Both are cookieless. They do not set cookies, do not use device fingerprinting, do not build a profile of you, and do not follow you to other websites. Because nothing is stored on your device for these purposes, this site has no cookie banner.
This site does not use Google Analytics, advertising tags, social media pixels, or any third-party advertising network.
Who we share information with
We do not sell, rent, or trade personal information, and we do not share it for anyone else’s marketing. It is held by Vercel as our hosting provider, and we disclose it further only where we are legally required to do so.
Asking for a copy or asking us to delete it
You can ask what we hold about you, ask for a correction, or ask us to delete it. Email mary@21childrensfund.org with the subject line “Privacy request” and we will respond within 30 days. You can also write to us at PO Box 368, Hockessin, DE 19707-0368.
Children using this website
This website is written for the adults who work with and support children. It is not directed at children, and we do not knowingly collect information submitted by a child through this site. If you believe a child has sent us information through the form, email us and we will delete it.
Changes
If this policy changes we will update the date at the top of this page.
